Some key details to note about removing a customer from Marsello:
When removing customers from your Marsello database, this will permanently remove these customers from your Marsello database and they will not be re-added to your program when making their next purchase.
If you want to exclude a group of customers (e.g. staff or suppliers) from your loyalty program, but still have them as part of your marketing list, you can use customer blacklisting.
How to remove an individual customer from Marsello
1. In your Marsello admin, go to Customers > All Customers
2. Search for the customer by name or email address
3. Select the customer by clicking on their Name.
4. Under their customer profile, click the Actions button, a dropdown menu will appear. Then, select Remove Customer.
⚠️ Important: Please double-check you have selected the correct customer before proceeding.
5. Click Yes, remove customer! to confirm that you want to remove the customer.
The customer will no longer be part of your loyalty program or receive your marketing.
⚠️ Important: This will remove the customer from your Marsello Subscription. The customer will not be automatically added back into your Marsello database the next time they shop.
How to bulk remove customers from Marsello with an email address
1. In your Marsello admin, go to Customers > All Customers
2. From the Update Customer List drop-down menu select bulk remove customers by email
3. In the pop-up enter the customers' email addresses that you would like to remove from your Marsello database. Then, click Remove Customers.
📝 Note: You need to enter one email address on each line without any spaces.
4. Please double-check the email addresses that you've entered and then click Remove customers
5. Click Yes, remove customers to confirm that you want to remove the group of customers.
The group of customers will no longer be part of your loyalty program or receive your marketing.

How to bulk remove customers from Marsello using their Export Id
📝 Note: Your customers' individual Export Ids are located in the CSV file that automatically downloads when you click the Export icon.
1. In your Marsello admin, go to Customers > All Customers
2. From the Update Customer List drop-down menu select bulk remove customers by ExportId
3. In the pop-up enter the customers' Export Ids that you would like to remove from your Marsello database

4. Please double-check the export ID's that you've entered and then click Remove customers
5. Click Yes, remove customers to confirm that you want to remove the group of customers.
The group of customers will no longer be part of your loyalty program or receive your marketing.
