Account contact details

Q. Our store has updated its contact email address. How do we update this on our Marsello account?

A. If your store’s contact email address has changed, our support team can update the email associated with your Marsello account.

This email may be used for account notifications, billing communication, and important product updates.

To request this change, please contact our support team and include:

  • Your store name

  • The current email address on the account

  • The new email address you would like to use

Our team will confirm once the update has been completed.


Q. We have a new marketing manager taking over our loyalty program. How can we update our details so they become the main contact for Marsello?

A. If a new team member will be managing your Marsello account, our support team can update the primary contact details.

Please contact our support team and provide:

  • Your store name

  • The new contact’s name

  • Their email address

Updating this information ensures the correct person receives account updates and important notifications.

Q. We have changed our store or brand name. How do we update this on our Marsello account for billing purposes?

A. If your store or brand name has changed, our support team can update the name associated with your Marsello account.

Before contacting support, please make sure your new branding is:

  • Live on your website

  • Updated in your POS or ecommerce integration

Once these updates are live, contact our support team and we will update the store name on your Marsello account.


Platform settings

Q. How do I change the time zone in Marsello?

A. Marsello displays times based on the local time zone of the device or browser you are using.

This means Marsello does not have a manual time zone setting within the platform. If Marsello is accessed from devices in different locations, times may appear according to the time zone set on each device.

For the most consistent experience, we recommend accessing Marsello from devices set to your store’s local time zone.


User access and permissions

Q. Can I create a user account within Marsello that has read-only permissions?

A. Currently, Marsello does not support read-only user accounts. All users added to a Marsello account will have full admin permissions. If read-only permissions are a feature you would find useful, you can submit or vote for this request through our feature feedback system. Your feedback helps our product team prioritise future improvements.

A. PoLP stands for the Principle of Least Privilege, a security practice that ensures users and systems only have access to the data and permissions required to perform their specific tasks.
