How do I re-add a removed customer in Marsello?

Manually re-add removed customers in Marsello so they can earn loyalty points and receive marketing emails again.

⚠️ Important: There is no way to re-add customers in bulk in-app. Please reach out to our Customer Support team if you need help with re-adding multiple customers to Marsello.

How to re-add a customer back into your Marsello database

1. In your Marsello admin, navigate to Customers > All Customers

2. In the customer table, select Including Removed

In your Marsello admin, go to Customers > All Customers. In the customer table, select 'Including Removed'

3. Search for the customer by name or email address

Search for the customer by name or email address

4. Select the customer by clicking on their Name (you will know which customers have been removed as their name will appear with (Uncontactable) and will not show the customer's email address.

Select the customer by clicking on their name. Removed customers will be labeled '(Uncontactable)' and will not display an email address

5. In the customer's profile, on the notification banner, click Reactivate customer now.

In the customer's profile, click 'Reactivate customer now' on the notification banner. The customer will be added back to your Marsello database, able to earn loyalty points, and receive marketing emails if they accept marketing.


What happens next

  • The customer is re-added to your Marsello database.

  • They can earn loyalty points again.

  • If they accept marketing, they can receive marketing emails.

⚠️ Important: This customer will also be added towards your total customers in your Marsello Subscription.
