Loyalty program training: Shopify POS - How do I award loyalty points to customers?

Add customers to a Shopify POS sale so they earn loyalty points and get their points automatically after checkout, even if they’re new to your database.

For customers to earn loyalty points for their purchase, simply add the customer to the sale in Shopify POS.

1. Add the customer's products that they want to buy to the sale


2. Tap Add customer, then search for them by name, email address, or mobile number

3. Tap View details to add them to the sale

📝 Note: If the customer is not part of your database yet, tap Add new customer to create their customer profile. Follow these steps.

4. Complete the sale.

When the sales is complete, the customer will automatically receive their loyalty points.
