Before you get started
Marsello currently supports Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Please see the profile types for each social media app.
Instagram: To connect Instagram, your Instagram account must be an Instagram Business Account and be connected to your Facebook Page. This is required by Instagram for posting images and videos.
Profile type: Business account only
Post types: Marsello allows single posts, multi-photo posts (publish up to 10 photos), and video posts.
Facebook: To connect Facebook, your Facebook account you must be an Admin or Owner of the Facebook page.
Profile type: Business pages only
Post types: Marsello allows image, video, and multi-photo posts.
TikTok: To connect TikTok, your TikTok account must be a verified TikTok account, including verifying your email during TikTok's sign up process
Profile type: Business account only
Post types: Marsello allows video posts
📝 Note: you can connect one social profile set – for example, if you have one brand with a Facebook page and an Instagram profiles, these can be connected. However, if you have a brand with multiple Facebook pages or Instagram profiles, this cannot currently be connected.
How to Link a Social profile
Connecting your social media profiles is easy with a few clicks.
1. In your Marsello admin, go to Settings > Social > Social Profiles
2. Click on the social platform card you'd like to connect. This will ask you to authorize access to Marsello via Ayrshare.
📝 Note: Ayrshare is an API tool that allows Marsello merchants to seamlessly connect social media platforms to their Marsello account. Please allow pop-ups in your browser and accept all authorizations to properly complete to linkage.
3. Follow the pop-up connection process to connect the social profile.

Connect your Facebook account to Marsello

🔑 Permissions: Before you begin, please ensure you have admin permissions for the business' Facebook account.
1. Login to your Facebook
2. In your Marsello admin, Social > Social Profiles, click the Facebook card
3. Click Continue to begin the connection process.
📝 Note: Marsello uses Aryshare, to help make this connection process as smooth as possible. Please grant all read and write permissions. This will allow Marsello to sync your previous posts & engagement statistics and allow you to create & schedule social posts via your Marsello admin.
4. Select the Facebook page you would like link, then click Submit
You will now see a confirmation pop-up to confirm the connection. Click OK to close.
Connect your Instagram business account to Marsello
Connect your Instagram account to start creating social posts for your Instagram page, planning content, and track revenue for social via Marsello.
📝 Note: As Meta owns both Facebook & Instagram, you will need to connect your Facebook business manager to connect Instagram.
Connect your Instagram account to your Facebook business account
1. In your Facebook Business manager page, click into Settings
2. In the Page settings navigation, click Instagram
3. Click Connect account
4. Next to Allow access to Instagram messages in inbox, click the toggle to ON, then click continue
5. Log into your Instagram account to complete the connection to your Facebook business account.
Your Instagram settings will now display Connected Instagram account.
Connect your Instagram business account to Marsello
1. Login to your Instagram account
2. In your Marsello admin, Social > Social Profiles, click the Instagram card
Select the Instagram page you'd like to connect
3. Click Next to begin the connection process.
4. Marsello uses Aryshare, to help make this connection process as smooth as possible
5. Ensure all permissions for your account are toggled to YES, then click Done
📝 Note: Please grant all read and write permissions. This will allow Marsello to sync your previous posts & engagement statistics and allow you to create & schedule social posts via your Marsello admin.
You will now see a confirmation pop-up to confirm the connection. Click OK to close.
6. Select the Instagram business page and click Submit to finalize the connection

2. In your Marsello admin, Social > Social Profiles, click the TikTok card
3. Click Authorize to begin the connection process.

Connected accounts
Once the social networks have been connected, you'll see your account logo (if available) and the card color change indicating your link is active.
After you've connected the social media accounts, click All Done, to go back into your Marsello admin.

Q: Can I connect all types of Instagram and Facebook accounts to Marsello?
A: Currently, Marsello only supports business account types.
Instagram Accounts: Only business accounts can be connected to Marsello. Personal and creator Instagram accounts are not supported.
Facebook Accounts: Only business Facebook accounts can be connected to Marsello. Personal Facebook accounts and Facebook groups cannot be linked.
TikTok Accounts: Only business TikTok accounts can be connected to Marsello.Personal accounts for TikTok cannot be linked.

Link to Facebook: Make sure that your Instagram Business Account is linked to your corresponding Facebook Business Account. This connection is crucial for seamless integration with Marsello.

Open the Instagram app.

Click into Settings & privacy
In the navigation, scroll down to Business integrations.
In your business integrations connected to your account, find Ayrshare
Ayrshare is an API tool that allows Marsello merchants to easily and seamlessly connect social media profiles.Click View and edit.
Once the pop up opens, ensure ALL permissions are toggled to ON, then click Save.
Your permissions will now be updated and you can continue using Social in Marsello.
