How do I create a custom flow in Klaviyo?
From your Klaviyo admin
1. Go to Flows > Create Flow
2. Select Build your own
3. Name your flow, add tags if needed, and click Create Flow to continue.
Choose a custom trigger to send a loyalty automation?
4. Select All triggers > Metric
📝 Note: Once a trigger has been selected in Klaviyo, it cannot be edited or undone.
5. Add the trigger filters, if required, for example, the site name.

6. Add the next steps to your flow from the drag-and-drop editor.
7. Begin creating your email by adding more information about your automation. Be sure to include your email's name, subject line, and preview text. Under the Template section, click on Select template.
8. Choose from the predesigned templates or choose to create your own email by selecting Create.
9. Further customize your campaign using your Marsello merge tags to personalize messages with the customer’s loyalty tier, points balance, or referral link.

💡Optional step: Include referral content
If you're using Marsello’s referral functionality, you can also surface the customer’s unique referral link in your Klaviyo automation:

10. Return to your automated flow and repeat steps 7-10 as needed.
11. Test your flow as needed. Once completed and reviewed, click Reviewed and Turn on.
12. Edit your flow message as needed.
⚠️Important: Be sure to use your unique loyalty program link behind any loyalty the buttons linking to your Marsello loyalty program added to your message (STORENAME/?loyal).
13. Click Create automation
