Install the Marsello Chrome extension for Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS

This extension allows staff to view loyalty points and redeem rewards from the Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS desktop sales screen.

For Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) merchants using iOS extension

Formerly known as Vend POS

Easily add new customers in-store using your Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS sale screen on the Desktop. This extension creates seamless points earning for every purchase made by your in-store customers and empowers your staff to efficiently redeem customers' loyalty rewards or email discounts at checkout.

⚠️ Important: This Chrome extension is now a LEGACY process. For a smoother, integrated experience, contact the Marsello support team to start using POS prompts.

Before you start

Ensure that the following installation has been completed:

• Your POS sites are enabled under the Integrations page

• You are using the Google Chrome browser to access Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS

Install the Marsello for Vend Register extension

⚠️ Important: You have install the Marsello Chrome Extension on every desktop you use to access the Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS in-store.

1. On your register, open Google Chrome browser

2. Go to Google Chrome web store > Marsello for Vend Register

3. Click Add to Chrome to install

4. Click Add extension to confirm

The extension will now show in your Google Chrome extension bar.

Access loyalty profiles from Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS sales screen

The Marsello for Lightspeed X Register aims to make it easier and faster to reward and engage with your customers at POS.

1. Open your Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS sell screen

2. Add the customer's products that they want to buy to the sale

3. Add your customer to the sale by searching for them by name, email address or mobile number

4. Click the customer's name to open their Lightspeed customer profile

5. Under their profile, click the new Check Rewards button

This will open the customer's loyalty profile. Here, you can view the loyalty points, reward(s) or email discount(s) they have available.
