Easily add new customers in-store using your Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS sale screen on Apple iPad. This app extension creates seamless points earning for every purchase made by your in-store customers and empowers your staff to efficiently redeem customers' loyalty rewards or email discounts at checkout.
Before you start
Ensure that the following installation has been completed:
Your POS sites are enabled under the Integrations page
You are using iPads with iOS 9.3 version or later
Install the Marsello for Lightspeed (X) Extension on your iPad(s)
⚠️ Important: You have to install the Marsello iOS Extension App on every iPad you use to access the Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS in-store.
1. On your iPad, launch the App Store
2. In the App Store, search for Marsello, or click here to access the Marsello app.
3. Tap Get to install
Once installed, the Marsello iOS extension for Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS will now display on your iPad.
Marsello is now activated. Staff can now access the customers' loyalty profile & available email discounts when processing sales in your Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) app ✨
⚠️ Important: The Marsello iOS extension for Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) displays a log-in screen, however, once installed, the app will automatically connect to your Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS account – so there's no need to log in. Everything is set up and ready-to-go.
Repeat the above steps for every iPad you use to process sales.
Access Marsello on the Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS sales screen
The Marsello for Lightspeed X-Series POS iOS extension aims to make it easier and faster to reward and engage with your customers at POS.
1. Open your Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS sales screen
2. Add the customer's products that they wish to purchase to the sale.
3. Add your customer to the sale by searching for them by name or email address
4. Tap on the Share icon in the top-right corner
5. Under the Share icon, tap Marsello for Lightspeed
This will open the customer's loyalty profile. Here, you can view the loyalty points, reward(s), or email discount(s) they have available.
