The Customer Portal is now your customers' go-to destination for signing up or logging in to their personalized loyalty profiles. Here, they can effortlessly explore various ways to earn points, redeem rewards, and access exclusive email discounts tailored just for them.
Why Switch to the Customer Portal?
More Customization: Tailor the loyalty experience to fit your brand’s unique identity.
Mobile Phone Optimization: The new portal is optimized for mobile devices, ensuring a seamless experience for your customers on the go.
Additional Integrations: With the Customer Portal, you can now integrate with Apple Wallet, making it easier for customers to access their digital membership card directly from their phones.
Access to New Features – Coming soon to Marsello – Create custom earning options and rewards! This empowers you to craft personalized loyalty experiences that resonate with your customers.
Important Steps for Switching:
To successfully transition from the online loyalty widget to the new Customer Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the new Customer Portal in your Marsello dashboard
2. Design & customize your customer portal to your branding preferences
3. Click Save as Draft
Once you're ready to make the switch:
1. Go to the Online Widget
2. Remove from the eCommerce Platform: Disconnect the online widget from your eCommerce platform to prepare for the switch. This can be done by toggling the on/off button to off.
3. Go back to the Customer Portal
4. Click Publish Changes.
📝Note: This step should be completed after configuring your Customer Portal settings. Be sure to refresh the page after clicking the publish changes button to ensure the updates are live.
5. Click Add to [eCommerce Platform name]: Finally, add the Customer Portal to your
eCommerce platform to activate it.
Additional Notes
For Shopify Users: Ensure that the online store embed is enabled for a smooth integration of the Customer Portal. Ensure that you save your theme as this is not an auto-save function for Shopify.
For WooCommerce Users: You will need to re-install the Marsello plugin to complete the setup.
⚽️ Heads up: Marsello will be transitioning all retailers from the legacy online widget and in-store portal to the new Customer Portal by the end of 2024. This change aims to enhance user experience, streamline operations, and provide more robust features for your business.
