Marsello's image editor can be used to update images from the stock image library and those you upload from your computer.
How to access Marsello's image editor
1. To access the image editor from within Marsello, you will need to open the email campaign or automation you are working on.
2. Double-click in the Image block of the image you wish to edit and select the Apply Effects button.
Apply a filter and/or add effects to an image
1. Once the Apply Effects editor is open, you can choose from the available options menu various filters or effects such as stickers, frames, and even text) for your images.
2. Select the Apply button once you have finished adding each option and then click Save to click in your changes.
Resize, Crop or Rotate an image
Resize your image
1. While in the Apply Effects editor, select the Resize button.
2. Enter the width and height for your image in pixels or enable the percentage checkbox to use percentages. Be sure to maintain the aspect ratio to ensure the image's original width-to-height relationship is maintained.
3. Click Apply if this is the only change you wish to make and then Save to lock in your changes.
Crop your image
1. While in the Apply Effects editor, select the Crop button.

Image quality and sizing
By default, Marsello's email templates are 600px wide and support specific image file types to ensure a high-quality experience for your customers.

Unwanted image stacking on mobile
Marsello's email templates stack the contents of columns to make reviewing the content easier to read on mobile devices. If you'd like to disable this feature to prevent elements from stacking when displayed on mobile devices:
1. Open the campaign you are working on and select the container row that hosts the image.
2. From the row editor, select the Mobile tab.
3. Scroll down and toggle the on/off button Hide on mobile to on.
4. Click Save
