Before you get started
Here are a few key details to note about the Wrapped integration:
You must have at least two different sales platforms connected to your Marsello account, such as Shopify and Lightspeed Retail.
You must be using the latest version of the Marsello customer portal. If you do not see this enabled in your Marsello dashboard, please let our support team know.
You must have the 'Custom rewards' and 'Custom earning rules' features enabled on your Marsello account. If you do not see this enabled in your Marsello dashboard, please let our support team know.
⚠️ Important: Any gift card created by Marsello will be counted towards your Wrapped new gift card issued/month billing allowance and may be subject to overages.
Connecting Marsello and Wrapped
📝 Note: Wrapped requires a unique Marsello user login to authenticate with Marsello's API to power this integration.
Create your unique Marsello credentials for API use
From your Marsello dashboard
1. You will need to create a new login in your Marsello dashboard. To do this go to Settings > Account > Users and click Add user.
⚠️ Important: This login needs to be unique and not associated with another Marsello account. We recommend using your own email address and adding +wrapped to the email address like this:
2. Activate this user account from your emails. Click Create your account.
3. Enter your user email address and select Send verification code.
4. Your verification code will be sent via email. Once received, enter your verification code into the form and create your new password. Click Continue.
5. Once saved, you will be redirected to your Marsello dashboard under this new login.
Connect Wrapped to Marsello
From your Wrapped dashboard
1. Go to Settings > Integrations and click + Install under the Marsello integration.
2. Enter the Marsello API username/email address and password that you created in step 1 (above).
3. Click Save. The Marsello integration will now appear as Installed under your Integrations dashboard.
Create your gift card reward
With Marsello connected to Wrapped, a new "Gift Card" reward template is ready for you to create your gift card reward.
From your Marsello dashboard
1. Go to Loyalty > Points program > Redeeming and click Add reward
2. Select Gift card as the reward type.
You can define the points required to redeem and gift card value to be any value you wish. In this example, we've created a reward for a $10 gift card.
3. Click Create. Your new reward will be available for your customers to redeem in your Marsello customer portal and at POS.
Test your customers' experience
1. Log in to your eCommerce store, load the Marsello customer portal and Claim your gift card reward.
2. Wrapped will email you the gift card code.
3. Create an order and apply the gift card at checkout.
