QR codes provide an easy, contactless way for visitors to sign up for your loyalty & marketing program at your venue or one-off event. When they scan the QR code, they simply sign up using one of the single sign-up methods. All sign-ups are recorded under the QR code form’s reporting and you can export if needed.

Generate a QR Code(s) for sign-up forms

1. In the Marsello admin, go to Customer experience > Point of Sale > Signup Forms and click Create QR Code

2. Complete your QR Code settings:

  • Name your QR code (internal name only)

  • Select the site you intend to display this QR code (Optional)

  • Enter custom tags to further track the performance of your QR code

In the Marsello admin, navigate to Customer Experience > Point of Sale > Signup Forms, then click “Create QR Code.” Fill in the QR code settings by naming it, selecting the display site (optional), and adding custom tags for tracking performance.

💡 Quick Tips: Selecting a site and tagging the QR code will improve your sign-up reporting.

  • In-venue example: If you intend to use your QR Code on your physical menu, you can tag 'menu', and then you'll be able to track all sign-ups from that venue, who signed up via your physical menu. This could help you develop a playbook for all of your venues where you display QR Code signup forms for the most success.

  • One-off event: If you are catering an event or have a pop-up stall, you can create a QR code & tag that event name to help you track sign-ups from those events. Another idea could be if you are doing print media with a magazine, asking the magazine to include your QR code to be able to track how many sign-ups you generated from that issue.
