You can connect WooCommerce to Marsello in two ways:

Updating your site without guidance can cause customer data to map incorrectly.
When a new site is launched, WooCommerce assigns new customer IDs. If the connection isn’t handled properly, this can result in:
Customers being linked to the wrong profiles
Customer data being overwritten in both Marsello and any connected integrations
How to connect WooCommerce to Marsello during the sign-up?
⚠️Important: To use Marsello on WooCommerce, you will need to authorize the connection between Marsello and WooCommerce. This can be done in a few simple steps.
📝Note: WooCommerce is a plugin that can make your WordPress website an online eCommerce store.
Getting started with Marsello is quick—connect your WooCommerce store during the sign-up process.
1. From Marsello's website, select the Start a free trial button.
2. Follow the prompts to enter your brand's details and click Continue.
3. From the Connect a sales platform step, select WooCommerce.
4. Follow the prompts to enter your WooCommerce store domain. Once entered, click connect.
📝 Note: After clicking Connect, you will also be prompted to log in to your WooCommerce account if you are not already logged in. Here you will be asked to login to WooCommerce (if you haven't already).
5. Once you have logged into your WooCommerce account, approve to authorize the connection between WooCommerce and Marsello.
📝 Note: This approves the API connection to create & sync Customers, Orders. Products, Collections, and Discounts.
6. WooCommerce will now show as connected in Marsello admin’s POS & eCommerce page
You will see customers sync through to the customers' section, and all orders going forward will sync through to Marsello.
How do I connect WooCommerce to Marsello from my Marsello dashboard?
If you already have Marsello installed and need to connect WooCommerce, you can do this directly from your Marsello app admin.
1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Sales platforms and select the Connect sales platform button.
2. This will open up a listing of available integrations to connect. Select Connect next to WooCommerce and enter your login details.
3. Here you will be prompted to enter your WooCommerce store domain. Once entered, click connect.
4. Here you will be asked to login to WooCommerce (if you haven't already). Login and click approve to authorize the connection between WooCommerce and Marsello.
📝 Note: This approves the API connection to create & sync Customers, Orders. Products, Collections, and Discounts.
5. WooCommerce will now show as connected in Marsello admin’s POS & eCommerce page
You will see customers sync through to the customers' section and all orders going forward will sync through to Marsello.
