Q. Will Shopify Online Loyalty Embeds slow down my online store?
A. Because the embeds are enabled and customized in Shopify’s theme editor, they behave like other Shopify content blocks. That means there’s less configuration to load or sync, keeping your storefront running smoothly.
Q. Can I customize the appearance of the blocks?
A. The loyalty blocks automatically use your Shopify theme for a cohesive look and feel. Additionally, there are multiple layouts (card, banner, etc) of each block to find the best fit for your storefront and brand.
Q. Where can I add the blocks on my storefront?
A. Currently, Shopify Online Loyalty Embeds can be added to most pages of your Shopify storefront, including your home page, product pages, loyalty explainer pages, and cart. At this time, the loyalty blocks are not supported on Checkout or Customer Account pages.
Q. Are the loyalty blocks set up manually?
A. Yes, but it’s a quick drag-and-drop step, just like the content blocks that you already use in Shopify. It’s the same experience giving you the ability to choose where the blocks appear, customise them, and preview everything before publishing. Once it’s live, there’s nothing more you need to do.

Q. How do Shopify Embeds appear to visitors vs members?
A. The loyalty embeds have two customer states; Visitor (logged out) and Member (logged in). Visitors should be prompted to join, while members should quickly see their loyalty details.
