Use POS Prompts to quickly and easily redeem customer rewards and discounts right at checkout β making every sale seamless and rewarding!

Before you start
Ensure that the following installation has been completed:
Your Marsello account is billed through your Lightspeed account
You have access to Workflows in your Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) back office admin. To check:
In your Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS admin, go to Staff experience > POS Prompts
In your Marsello account:
Your POS sites are enabled under the Integrations page
You have enabled the Loyalty Reward Prompt under the POS Prompts settings page

What steps should staff follow to redeem rewards during the sale using POS prompts?
You can redeem available loyalty rewards and email discounts easily from the sales screen.
1. Add the customer's products that they want to buy to the sale
2. Add your customer to the sale by searching for them by name, email address or mobile number
3. This will open the customer's loyalty reward prompt, here you can view the customer's loyalty points balance and rewards reward(s) or email discount(s) they have available. On the prompt, select the reward by clicking on the radio-button next to the reward title.
π βNote: The points cost of the reward, displayed in brackets, indicates how many points will be deducted from the loyalty balance upon use.
ββ4. Click Continue to apply the reward discount to the sale. The discount will then automatically be added to the sale.
When a customer redeems a discount as part of their order:
If they used a loyalty reward: the reward's loyalty points cost will be deducted from their points balance, and the discount will be applied to the sale. The customer's unique discount code will be shown in the discount details.
OR
If they used an email discount: the discount code will be removed from their account to prevent further use. The customer's unique discount code will also be displayed in the discount details.
5. Complete the sale.
Upon completing the sale, customers will earn loyalty points based on their new order total, excluding the discount amount.
