Why aren't my new customers appearing in all my integrations?
Merchants with multiple integrations connected to Marsello may find that when a new customer signs up for an account in one integration, the customer doesn't sync through to their second integration (POS or eCommerce and vice-versa). This is due to a limitation in the API which prevents Marsello from automatically generating a new account in a second integration (for example, Lightspeed X-Series to BigCommerce).
Merchants will need to advise customers that when signing up for a store account, the customer will also need to create an account (using the same email address) in the merchant's second integration for a full omni-channel experience. Once the customer signs up at the second integration, their email address will sync through to Marsello, and the system will match up and merge the customer's loyalty accounts based on the email. Customers will then have access to loyalty across both integrations and will be eligible to earn points and redeem rewards both in-store and online.
📝Note: The only instance where Marsello can automatically create a customer's account in the second integration is between Shopify POS and Shopify eCommerce.
