1. In the Marsello admin, go to Loyalty > Notifications
2. Click Edit Template

1. Simply click on the Email Subject text box

2. Update your subject line text

💡 Pro Tip: 33% of email recipients open emails based on the subject line alone. Use merge tags to make your email subject line relevant and personalized using your member data and loyalty activity. 

3. Click Save Template

Choose your level of customization, add your own design, then add your own email message. It's easy to customize the design of your email templates with the easy-to-use email customization tool. 

In your email template editor you can:

💡 Pro tip: Select the target "New tab". That way, members can navigate back to your email easily.
📝  Note: Merge tags do not support hyperlinks if you want to add a link add it to plain text.  

Once the image has been uploaded, you can alter the image size, alignment and also remove it. 

💡 Pro Tip: The optimal email image width is 480px to make sure that your image is visible and doesn't disrupt your email layout.  

Edit your email message, adding your store's voice and tone to your loyalty emails. 
In your email template editor, you can edit any text, add paragraphs, information, and social media links.

1. In the app admin, go to Loyalty > Notifications

Using your merge tags on the right side of the email builder:
3. Copy the merge tag you would like to add.

4. Click into your template and paste the merge tag.

5. Click Save Changes in the upper right corner.
Your email template will then be updated. To preview your email with your merge tags, using fake data, click Send Test Email
