Earn points for Facebook page likes

Enabling your customers to earn points for liking your Facebook page is a great way to grow your following and get your customers involved in your Loyalty Program at the same time.

• How can I encourage my customers to like my Facebook page?
• How do customers earn points for liking my Facebook page?
• How many times can the customer earn points for liking on Facebook?

1. In your Marsello admin, under Loyalty, go to Earning Points & Referrals.

2. Under Liking page on Facebook, click Edit

📝  Note: Make sure that Liking on Facebook is toggled to on to be able to edit this. 

💡 Pro Tip: If Facebook is the social media channel that you most want to grow, set a slightly higher earn points amount to encourage members to follow that social media page.

3. Under How many points should be given? enter your loyalty points amount, based on how much you value this action

4. Enter your Facebook page URL

5. Click Save

On the customer’s loyalty profile, under the Earn Tab, they will see the ability to click through to earn points for Like us on Facebook. 

Once the customer has liked your store on Facebook, they’ll receive their points straight away.  

📝Note: If you have your Points Earned automation turned on, your customer will automatically be notified by email. This email will let them know how many loyalty points they have earned, their new loyalty points balance, and how many points away they are from their next reward.

🗣 Common Question: How many times can the customer earn points for liking on Facebook?
Customers can only earn points for Like us on Facebook once. After this action has been completed, this earn option will be removed from their loyalty profile.  

You can see who has earned points for liking your store’s Facebook page and when. 

1. In your Marsello admin, under Loyalty, go to Earning Points & Referrals.

2. Under Liking page on Facebook, click the down arrow beside the edit button and then click View reporting.
