How customers spend points to redeem your rewards
When a customer has earned enough points, they can spend them to redeem a reward of their choice.
To redeem a reward and get their unique reward discount code, the customer simply clicks on the reward of their choice, then clicks Redeem.
As soon as a reward is redeemed, the customers points balance is adjusted, removing the points cost. A unique discount code is generated and displayed, ready for them to use.
The customer can use their discount code now, or save it for later. They can view their unused code at any time in your loyalty widget and if you have your Reward Discount Email turned on, they will be able to find it in their emails as well. Once they use the code, it will be removed from their account.
How customers redeem unique reward codes online
When a customer is ready to checkout, they will click through to their cart. To check their rewards, they can click on your loyalty widget.
Here they can copy their unique discount code, ready to use at check out.
The customer can then enter their unique discount code into the Discount Field and click Apply
The discount will be applied to the sale.
The customer will then proceed to complete the order as normal.

Does the points cost get taken away from their balance when they redeem a reward?
Yes, as soon as a reward is redeemed, the customers points balance is adjusted, removing the points cost even if they don't use the coupon code in that order. This protects your store by preventing customers from redeeming rewards they are not entitled to.
Can customers redeem more than one reward at a time?
Even if a customer has enough points to redeem multiple rewards, they can only use one discount code at a time. This is set by Shopify to prevent discount stacking.
Can a customer redeem their discount code more than once?
No, discount codes are unique and only available for one-time use.
