Create a pop-up sign-up form

1. In the app admin, go to Forms

2. Click Create Form

3. Click Pop-up Form

4. Customize your sign-up form:  

  • Click on the text block to edit the current text.

    💡Here's a great place to set expectations on the types of emails that subscribers can expect to receive.  
  • Click on the form options block to edit the text on the form and also add new form options like birthday or custom forms.

    📝Note: The two form options Name & Email Address are required fields and cannot be removed.
  • You can drag-and-drop the content blocks on the right-hand side to customize the text and design of your sign-up form.

Customize your success page

This page shows after the visitor successfully signs up to your customer list. 

1. In the Form editor click Success

2. Customize your sign-up form:  

  • Click on the text block to edit the current text
  • You can drag-and-drop the content blocks on the right-hand side to customize the text and design of your sign-up form.

3. Click Next step to save your pop-up form customization

Choose your Pop-up form display settings

1. Click Timing to choose when your pop-up displays on your online store

  • If you would like to display your pop-up after a visitor spends a certain amount of time on your online store:

    1. Select Show form after user spends [ ] second(s) on a page.
    2. Enter the number of seconds that you'd like your pop-up to display after.  
  • If you would like to display your pop-up after a visitor shows intent to exit your online store:

    1. Select Show form when a visitor tries to leave your store

You can select both or one of these timing options. 

3. Click Save & Proceed

Preview and enable your pop-up form

1. In the preview, check your design and content of your pop-up form

2. Click Edit to name your pop-up form to make it easier to identify in the Forms dashboard (optional) 

3. Click Save & Enable

Your pop-up will begin to display on your online store.

Your visitors' experience

Once you've enabled your pop-up on your online store, the pop-up will begin to display to your visitors. They will be able to join your mailing list by completing the sign-up form.  
The visitors must enter their Name and Email address, and then opt-in to your mailing list by clicking the Subscribe button at the bottom of the form. 

They will then be added as a customer on your eCommerce (and POS) and into your Marsello Window Shopper customer segment ready to receive your marketing.
