As a default, in your Shopify settings, your Customer Accounts are Disabled

When a customer tries to join your loyalty program through the widget, they are asked to create a Shopify account. Due to the default settings in Shopify, you will need to update this to Accounts are Optional. Customers will now be able to sign-up through your loyalty widget and still checkout as a guest. 

Optimize all Shopify settings to make sure your loyalty program works perfectly.
